Issues

I will fight for our families:

  • Lower Our Cost Of Living
Reduce or eliminate taxes and regulations that are squeezing our wallets and repeal the fee hikes on tollway
  • Stop The Energy Rate Hikes
Support energy policies that bring down electric and gas costs for families.
  • Deliver For Working Families
As a County Board Member, Julie has a proven track record of voting against tax hikes and pay increases
  • Protect Our Communities
Repeal cashless bail and end the revolving door that puts criminals back on our streats and our families at risk

Meet Julie

Julie Berkowicz has served the people of Will County with a commitment to transparency, fiscal responsibility, and community‑focused leadership. As a Will County Commissioner, she works to protect taxpayers, strengthen public safety, and support local families and businesses. Her experience with youth, special needs, senior citizens, and Veterans is beneficial when working on programs and critical issues within our neighborhoods. Julie continues to serve the community as she has for over 30 years.

Now she is asking for your vote to become State Senator in Illinois State Senate District 21 to bring practical, results‑driven leadership to Springfield. Julie believes government should work for families and communities – not against them.

During my tenure on the Knoch Knolls Homeowners Board I have worked with many facets of government operations and I understand the needs of the homeowners and the role of the many volunteers who make this County a great place to call home.

I look forward to every day, rolling up my sleeves and tackling the issues that we face and making Will County an even better place for our families and businesses.
